Monogram CEO, Karl Schledwitz, Named to Top 25 Icons List
Monogram Foods is thrilled to share that our CEO, Karl Schledwitz, has been named to The National Provisioner’s Top 25 Icons List for the meat industry.
In 2004, Karl Schledwitz and Wes Jackson founded Monogram Foods which, at the time, had just 9 employees. Monogram now employs over 2,600 people and has a projected 2016 revenue of $650 million, with plans to exceed $1 billion run rate in 2018. Monogram Foods employs a flexible business approach, capitalizing on co-manufacturing and licensing deals to manufacture meat snacks, processed-meat products and appetizers in facilities that have been acquired and renovated to meet production needs. Monogram Foods has been named to numerous “fastest growing companies” lists, and in 2014, Ernst & Young recognized Schledwitz as an Entrepreneur of the Year.
Schledwitz was nominated by industry peers for this prestigious award. The National Provisioner chose to honor 25 icons in conjunction with its 125 Anniversary. The list includes meat and poultry industry icons who have made their mark on the industry since 1991.
