Monogram Foods Announces Fourth IMPACT10 Charity Winner
MEMPHIS, TN – (March 11, 2015) – Monogram Foods, a leading manufacturer, distributor and marketer of ready-to-eat jerky and other meat snacks, is pleased to announce that HER Faith Ministries is the fourth charitable organization randomly selected to receive $1,500 a year for the next 10 years from Monogram Foods’ IMPACT10 charitable giving campaign.
In addition to HER Faith Ministries, other IMPACT10 recipients to-date include the Boys and Girls Club of Crittenden County, Ave Maria Home, and New Day Children’s Theatre. Nominations of deserving charities can be submitted through the IMPACT10 website at www.impact10.com. The fifth winning charity will be selected by random drawing on March 18, 2015 with five additional drawings to take place each Wednesday through April 22.
The mission of HER Faith Ministries is to empower homeless and needy women, protect children and strengthen families.
“We will use this money to provide basic needs for women,” said Elaine Sanford, Executive Director of HER Faith Ministries, which is located at 3396 Park Avenue in Memphis. “We can’t just talk about empowering women if they don’t have food and basic needs; we provide these basic needs that allow them to take care of themselves.”
In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Monogram Foods created IMPACT10 to give away $150,000 to 10 charities over 10 years. IMPACT10 recipients are selected by random drawing and each winner will receive a total of $15,000.
“We have been so pleased with the acts of kindness we have received,” said Karl Schledwitz, Chairman and CEO of Monogram Foods. “Congratulations to HER Faith Ministries, a great organization whose mission is to take homeless women and children and make them self-sustaining. ’’
