Monogram Foods Announces Seventh IMPACT10 Charity Winner

MEMPHIS, TN – (April 1, 2015) – Monogram Foods is pleased to announce that the American Red Cross of Mid-South is the seventh charitable organization randomly selected to receive $1,500 a year for the next 10 years from Monogram Foods’ IMPACT10 philanthropic campaign.

The mission of the American Red Cross is to prevent and relieve suffering through the service areas of disaster relief, American military family support, blood donations, international services, and health and safety services. The center is located at 1399 Madison Ave. in Memphis, Tenn.

“We assist an average of two to three families a day that are impacted by residential fire,” said Laura Vaughn, Executive Director for the American Red Cross of Mid-South. “This money will go to supporting these efforts.”

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Monogram Foods created IMPACT10 to give away $150,000 to 10 charities over 10 years. IMPACT10 recipients are selected by random drawing and each winner will receive a total of $15,000.  In addition to the American Red Cross of Mid-South, other IMPACT10 recipients to-date include the Boys and Girls Club of Crittenden County, Ave Maria Home, New Day Children’s Theatre, HER Faith Ministries, Harwood Center and Hope House.

Nominations of deserving charities can be submitted through the IMPACT10 website at www.impact10.com. The eighth winning charity will be selected by random drawing on April 8, 2015.

“We are so glad to be able to give to this organization which provides so much to Memphis and the Mid-South,” said Karl Schledwitz, Chairman and CEO of Monogram Foods.
