Monogram Foods Concludes $150K IMPACT10 Giving Campaign

MEMPHIS, TN – (April 22, 2015) – The Streetdog Foundation is the final winner of Monogram Foods’ IMPACT10 charitable campaign, which has awarded by random drawing 10 Memphis area charities $1,500 a year for the next 10 years.

The Streetdog Foundation, which relies on the help of volunteers and donations, rescues, rehabilitates, and finds permanent homes for stray and abandoned dogs in Memphis, Tenn.

“This donation will make a massive impact on our mission to rescue stray dogs,” said Alli Echlin, Streetdog’s volunteer executive director. “We save one to two dogs every week, and with no paid staff, this money will go directly to these animals.”

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Monogram Foods created IMPACT10 earlier this year to give away $150,000 to 10 charities over 10 years.. Nominations were made on IMPACT10’s website, www.impact10.com, and the winners were selected by random drawing.

In addition to the Streetdog Foundation, IMPACT 10’s winning charities are: the Boys and Girls Club of Crittenden County; Ave Maria Home; New Day Children’s Theatre; HER Faith Ministries; Harwood Center; Hope House; the American Red Cross of Mid-South; Playhouse On the Square; and The Exchange Club Family Center.

“All of us at Monogram are truly blessed to be able to help these charities through our IMPACT10 campaign,’’ said Karl Schledwitz, chairman and CEO of Monogram Foods.
