Monogram Pet Treats Announces Wage Increase

Schulenburg, TX – (February 4, 2016) – Monogram Pet Treats, a division of Monogram Foods which purchased its Schulenburg production facility in January 2015, is raising wages for general production team members as part of the plant’s expansion plan. Hourly pay for entry level workers will begin at $10.25 and pay for experienced workers, as defined by two or more consecutive years manufacturing experience in the last five years, will begin at $11.50.

All positions after a short waiting period offer excellent benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance as well as life insurance, nine paid holidays, paid vacation and short-term disability.

The wage increase comes as part of a company expansion plan which will put over $5 million into capital improvements and increase production volume by over 25% at the plant. The plant is looking to add 22 team members in the areas of general production and maintenance.
